Smoked an 09 esplendido yesterday which was excellent, these keep getting better and better. Buddy had a 2010 lusi which everyone knows I am not a fan of at all and dare I say it was excellent. A lot of partagas power coming through which shocked me and tasted nothing like any other lusi I've ever tried. I told my friend he will never smoke another like that. Turns out they came from a 10ct box which I had two of and all were terrible (and plugged most of them).

Between being in the office and a conference call later tonight with Japan, taking time to enjoy a RA Gordito.

Having a nice 2010 RA Lusitano.. Had some classic RA flavors but more time in the humi would help greatly

A very young and still very good 2013 RASS today. These will be absolute crackers in a few years.

Another wind-tunnel Boli RC. Great flavors, but sh!t construction. Sadly this happens enough to keep me from stocking these. post-13208-13746334514823.jpg

2000 Hdm Double Corona. Had let these sit for quite some time since the remaining half or so had been pretty much tent pegs.

Draw tested them this morning and found one had opened up enough for a decent burn. Fired it up with my morning coffee and was not disappointed,

Light as expected, but some decent flavor given the dearth of smoke from a still fairly tight draw. Cream, toast, touch of leather - hope the remaining few open up one day.

Do me a favour mate.

Cut cap the most plugged HDM ...the one you have given up on and put it in the fridge. Give it 24hrs. Report back tomorrow ok.gif

Yo Rob

Will do, though following your suggestion previously noted in other posts, have given a few a shot without a great deal of success.

I believe I've got a master case of plugged sticks I've collected over the years that I optimistically believe will become smokeable one day.

So far I've only given a few of those a couple of hour's chance in the fridge, willl try overnight-couple of days.

If that doesn't work, would trade you 10 for 1 if you think you'd have better luck!

And that's a wrap!

Revisiting the Serie E! They are a substantial stick, not just in girth! I wanted something to 'finish off' properly after my rolled lamb shoulder!

Pretty pleased with myself right about now!

Enjoyed the last of my HdM DC 2007 last night.Gorgeous ash, burn and construction and just the right amount of resistance on the draw. Got plenty of very nice hints of wood, earth, spice and sweet honey. The sweetness went away in the final third. Really enjoyed these over the last few years. Paired up with a delicious Diplomaticos rum and they paired up very nicely.

Noticed this was coming up a few days ago. Wanted to try and snag it, but alas I didn't check on here early enough today!

Good stuff. Here is to 10,000 more!

Yeah, I slept through the end of the count. Great job by a wonderful community!

Just finished an early 80's La Escepcion Excepcionales. Wow. Cotton candy sweetness, caramel and very tangy notes. Following it up with an RA Estupendo.

UPDATE:

Pitched the Estupendo. Horrible draw from the start, OK flavours. Clipped the first third off, better draw. But no flavour. :(

Now on to a Monsdale. Huge Improvement.
