An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

C&C ‘14 especiales. Fantastic start to the day C&C with a Monte 4 C&C time today with a Perla picked up from 24:24

Just searching for threads regarding cohiba siglo IV and SLR Regios and came across this thread. Can I please ask others opinion on the SLR Regios? Today I've had a Regios and a siglo IV and the flavour profiles on the Regios, IMO, are far superior but are they always almost unsmokeably tight? This is my fith single from my local retailer and they've all been as tight. I want to buy a box from the *****int but am worried that they're all going to be like this.

They have less issues from a fifty cab, my personal experience. I prefer the Serie A.

Going through a Bolivar phase:

Yesterday and outstanding tubos #3 - fantastic, especially for the price. BD2007.

Today followed up with an equally good Coronas Jr. BD 2011 and a Bonitas BD 2006. Yum!

Yesterday was an 09 BBF avg at best which is sad considering the rest of the box has been really good. Then went 12' PSP JL2 and it was stellar, had to keep going followed that with a MUR RASCC which was brutally strong and its funny because they'res only 8 left from that box and this was a brute but with great flavor loved it. Finished with a 12' BPC from a box that has been stellar this is pure Boli, coffee cream spice, I need another box for sure one of the best cigars out there for the money.

More glorious weather in the UK... Most unusual! (I'm off to Cannes and St Tropez tomorrow - never thought I'd be leaving behind hot sunny weather to arrive into rain!!!)

Decided to take advantage and sit in the garden listening to Cuban music, and Test Match Special, whilst smoking a Nicaraguan cigar... A Padron 1926 No2 (with a natural wrapper leaf) I was gifted a few years ago by the UK importer. I'll say straight up that I have not been a fan of the standard Padron line up, but this is an incredibly good cigar. Lots of complexity - dry and herby up front on the draw, then on the exhale a nice sweetness. Flavour developing through the cigar too. Not what I generally expect from an NC - I've got a few NCs I really do quite like, but nothing with this sort of complexity. The first two thirds have made me think that maybe the American golfing magazine got this one right when they gave it 93...

Upper management and the kids are in bed, so I'm sitting down with an 08 Parti 898. I'm only an inch into this puppy and besides the earthy richness I expected, I'm getting a salty-fresh note I've not had in a cigar before. Much like natural yogourt. Tzatziki maybe? A very interesting flavour.
