Smoking a 1929 Clear Havana. A Peter Schuyler perfecto. Mind being blown as I write. This stick has lots of life in it. Solid white ash, excellent burn and it makes a lot of smoke. Flavours are toasty tobacco. Some sour fruit notes as well. Orange peel'ish.

Agreed! I love those. Those PSs are meant to be treasured. One of the few clear Havanas that has given me hope to continue searching for many more. Not a bland smoke at all!

Today I got up and headed for my Humidor and the one that came the closest was the N.C. Humidor, so, I

grabed a,"Grande classe" It was very good but not much complexety, just good tobacco.tantrum.gif

Enjoyed a Trini Fundadore (2005) on Friday. Very good smoke volume along with great construction, draw and burn with the classic grassy/earth profile with some notes of subtle pepper and cream/vanilla. These still have legs on them. Had a H.Upmann RR on Father's day with my father and it was fantastic. I wish I had more of these. Wonderful construction along with some earth, hay, espresso and some pepper notes throughout.

Started off the day with a 10 d4 that was ok, then a great 08 cce and finished with an 02 sir winnie which was sublime. Way too much food, drink and smokes yesterday.

Thanks Prez, and the whole Czar crew! These just came in today, and I couldn't resist lighting one. Oily, chocolate and graham, with sweetness and good right till my fingers hurt! What a treat knowing I have 24 more! post-13208-13715025235257.jpg

Diplo #2 - nice and oily colorado claro. A bit under-filled with a rough construction but a good solid draw. Medium bodied with woody and toasty notes.

Excellent with the Plantation Grande Reserve, an outstanding Barbados Rum. Sippable neat but at the price point not a shame to mix, daiquiris for sure, wouldn't even cringe at a Cuba Libre....
