An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

C&C ‘14 especiales. Fantastic start to the day C&C with a Monte 4 C&C time today with a Perla picked up from 24:24

@Greenhorn2 Agreed! How was your recent go at the JL1? I had one last night and a JL2 5 days prior. The JL1 was a good smoke but wasn't giving me anything flavorwise that made it stand out. What the JL2 lacked in transitions, it gave me everything in the realm of that sweet Cuban mildness. It made my palate say, "I can't name all the flavors I'm tasting, but this thing sure is good!" My first JL1 was like an irresistible brioche sweetbread. I have yet to get that again from subsequent JL1 sticks, so I'm excited to explore the JL2 route a bit more.

The JL 1 seems to have more transitions, although be it very mild and nuanced. I have to sort of scratch my head and think about it, if you know what I mean. My JL 2 are more straight forward in your face. The flavor profiles are more distinguished but transitions are fewer and far between, if that makes any sense.

Monday morning started just right. 3 hours in the surf, followed by brekky and now a 2016 El Principe with coffee. Going be a great 2 weeks in the Mentawai’s
