Poor construction and flavor profile is just plain BAD. Unfortunate as the wrapper smelled great.

ETB FEB 2016 Partagas D 5. I bought a 6er of these from Rob back in 2020. The first 5 were meh to me. This one was great. Go figure.

The D 5 left me hanging so I went with this RAT OCT 2020 CORO.Its  more woody than the expected grassy / herbal profile that you would expect.

Montecristo Petit #2 from our gracious host. GRB SEP ‘23. 1/3 on deck for the weekend, off to a good start. More leathery woodsy w/semi sweet undertones popping up here and there. Curiously complex.

It's a maduro wrapper so you won't find any "Cubanesque" flavors.

HUHCs have always been perfect for me: a 100% hit rate. Monte Media Coronas have been 50% unsmokable/unsalvageable (even with the perfect draw). Consequently I'd put my money on HUHCs.
