A 2017 God of Fire Don Carlos that's been lying in the humidor for several years. Started out red pepper, the eye watering retrohale type. Pepper receded and a nice sweet cinnamon and tongue numbing spice(cloves?) rotates in and out. A dark sweet cherry is hanging around in the background. The red pepper has changed into a black pepper going into the 2nd 1/3. Strength and flavor are medium full and building towards full. The burn has been uneven, but not needed correcting. To be a NC cigar, this was a surprisingly excellent stick. I would give this a 92/93 easy. If the burn wasn't uneven, maybe 94.

RASS took crazy effort to light. Had to check the Tuperdor, RH up to 74% no bueno for this stick. Still smoked well. Dry box time.

Fresh HUHC (LTA FEB 24) with an "EL-wrapper"…  Tastewise in fact slightly reminiscent of the 2012 Robusto (not a bad thing). Slightly burn-proof wrapper, might improve with time, we’ll see. Promising batch nonetheless.
