QdO 50 OER MAY 2020 

Changed my view of QdO 50. I used to think I did not like them; I now know I just don’t like them young. After 3 years they make a step change and are excellent.

Rafael Gonzales Perla. I appreciate the utilitarian label. Unfortunately this was bland which has been my experience with RG. Will give it another six months before I try another. Vague chocolate cake but nothing more.

Solid, my fellow brother. Just an overall solid smoke.

The wrapper is smooth, almost perfect.

Cigar was firm to the touch. Well filled with tobacco without compromising the draw.

The burn was impeccable as well.

Wonderful complexity and sweetness throughout.

Plenty of legs left to boot.

Wish that I was sitting on several boxes of these.

First sampling from a current MdO4 EBP FEB 24 box. Appears very true to the “usual” / standard blend. Smooth and seems made from well-aged tobacco. Happy to see that.

ULA MAR 14 for comparion. Both cigars share indeed a lot of similarities, so much so that the 2024 doesn’t even appear that fresh at all.

BUP OCT 2019 Lusy. I have one left in this 10 ct box, one of the first boxes I bought from FOH out of the shopping cart for $169. Glad I got in here when I did.

Best Cuban experience of 2024. Dry boxed for 2 days. One of the most Cuban Cubans I’ve had in a while. Lovely smoke output. One of the most amazing 1/3s in a cigar I’ve ever had. Takes me back to my first Cuban. No relights or touch ups. Bountiful smoke output all the way through. Watched the sun rise at 5a while sipping cold brew. PSE2 UBL ABR ‘22.

I have some OX Lost City and Fuente Fuente  from 2017 I've been thinking about lately. You might have talked me into it.

An oldie but new to me RP Hamlet Liberation followed by my favorite finisher, Illusione Ultra MK. I have no idea why this was discontinued as it is the best short smoke they had in their lineup.
