LLC Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Yesterday a 2007 Monty 4 Reserva. Made with tobacco from 2002 this was stronger than I expected but burn, draw and construction were perfect. A great gift from a BOTL and ended up one if the best cigars I've had in a long time.
LLC Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 didn't even know they had mc4 reservas LOL!! Have a look at Trevor's web site for all the details. The only downside is it is likely the last one I'll ever have.
finecigar Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 To celebrate 50,000 views on the blog.... 2003 Edicion Limitada Cohiba Double Corona.... Congrats man on your accomplishment! Love reading your blog. Great cigar to pick
Bartolomeo Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 10 RA Superiore tonight while watching Live From The Humidor......these cigars are great, tons of flavor and still young, fairly cheap for $9-10 a smoke too....buy list Bart
CBL Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Smoked a delicious ERdM Grandes de España from 2005 last night. Perfect draw, pre-draw tasted like Coca Cola, lit up without hassle. Nice smooth flavors with palpable smoke that I found myself trying to chew. I had three and after smoking it my count of enchanted objects had diminished by one.
maverickdrinker Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 2007 Edicion Regional Espana Vegas Robaina Maestros with a nice cappucino this morning....
CBL Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 A wonderful afternoon with a wonderful cigar. RAS 2010, first out of the box.

Hubba Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 3...2.....1...it's the weekend! Mar 2012 Lusi to get it started.
Pilgrims Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Juan Lopez No2 from feb 2012, bit of a wind tunnel but good, rich and full...
mk05 Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Juan Lopez No2 from feb 2012, bit of a wind tunnel but good, rich and full... Mine suffer the same underfilled problems but are very rich. Smoking an early '90s Punch RS12. So strong. I'm dying, melting into my chair
Bartolomeo Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 2010 RA Gordito RE....it was good but I think I prefer the Superiores over this......I need to check out the 11/12 Superiores to see how they are doing Bart
Ssmith114 Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 2011 La Escepcion Italy RE.. These have been absolutely amazing! It's started out very strong, tons of smoke and intense pepper. Second half mellowed out a bit and had a very nice creamy flavor. Its hard to believe these will only get better with age their an absolute treat right now!
Andrew11 Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 2011 Cohiba Lancero Just and incredible cigar, smooth with some cedar and nice sweetness on the lips. Very nice!!!
dangolf18 Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Celebrating my first week at my new job with an Opus X Lost CIty toro. Was not impressed with the cigar.
Andrew11 Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Had a Opus X a month ago, it was good but nothing special. I think because of all the hype, we accept to much.
oliverdst Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 PSD4 paired with the extra mild Toro Loco Tempranillo.
finecigar Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Had a La Palina Goldie No 5 earlier today! Really something... Easily in the top 10 best NCs I've had. Glad I got a couple boxes, they are worth the price IMO. Was a very Cuban-esque smoke that was creamy, earthy, and full of some strong fruit flavors. Prefer it better than the first Goldie for some reason.
Lotusguy Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Montecristo Especial #2 BD 1999. Very very smooth, and starts out very light. Luckily it builds a bit after the first third. First one from this box but I think they won't benefit from further aging. Time to smoke them now! Perfect draw and burn. Come to think of it, that is probably the oldest Montecristo I ever smoked. Hard to find Montes older than 10 years for any kind of reasonable money. Paired with Kilchoman Machir Bay 2012 release. A bit too powerful to drink with such a subtle stick.
