An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

C&C ‘14 especiales. Fantastic start to the day C&C with a Monte 4 C&C time today with a Perla picked up from 24:24

Pliny!!! Can’t get it here ;-(

It was absolutely scarce here in Southern California for years. Literally a 6 pack per store weekly. so a casual shopper would never see it. Just rumors. Limit 1 bottle per customer. in the last couple years they increased distribution and i have seen a case show up to some brick and mortar shops. also on tap locally. Good to see.

So..how is it smoking? Yeah several of my co-workers are in TX and have lost power

Really nicely, actually. Impressed me for being so fresh.

Which one shined over the others? All great smokes!

That’s a tough one. The Casildas are amazing. If I had a gun to my head, I would pick them. But the 7 year old Talismans are pretty damn good right now. Definitely a very close second.

Inspired by @Li Bai’s comment in the Didier Houvenaghel thread to dig this Nicarao Especial out of my singles stash. Beautiful wrapper, construction and burn. And the flavour is a bit Upmann-like to me. Will have to get more.

Glad I inspired someone today 😁

I'm out of Nicaraos myself and now YOU made me want to smoke one 🥲

I'll be on the hunt 👍

Brideshead Revisited, great book and full of one-liners.

Also has a mention of a cabinet of Partagas on a sideboard. Classic book.
