They don’t get a lot of love on this forum - assume bc the vitola. But I love the Mag 54 and honestly it’s more consistent than the 46 in my experience.

Was thinking the same thing while smoking it - wish the they could nail the same profile in a smaller ring gauge.  But, I can get over my vitola hang ups for a cigar that is consistently this good :)

An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

C&C ‘14 especiales. Fantastic start to the day C&C with a Monte 4 C&C time today with a Perla picked up from 24:24

Another Monday another cigar

I was fortunate to have been given an aged Triunfador Lancero last year, from 2008 I was told.  It was so stunning I sought out a new box and set it in the "distant" storage to enjoy in the far away future.

I did have one of the new ones fresh, which was flavorful and pleasant -- all milk chocolate and fresh mint but not a lot of transition.

I am excited to discover what the future will bring to a current <$10 cigar that is made so thoughtfully, well batched and constructed and, apparently, with good (but perhaps young) tobacco.

It could be a crap shoot but will be fun when they're re-opened. It's reminiscent of the old days :)
