Sampling current Regios I'm almost surprised to see how true to the brand's profile they still are after all those years I got to enjoy them (reaching back to 1998 and abouts for me). Beautiful wrapper, spot on blend, while a tendency to tunnelling made this one a bit of a chore due to a couple necessary touchups. Seeing potential here.

Incredible pairing: Mormoreto 2017 and Punch RS 11 from 2000. Pure black cherry from the wine and dark cocoa from the cigar. Luscious, rich and long finish.

Saint Luis Rey Regio. This is a bit unusual and “rare”. Some berry in there for sure but a lot of chocolate sponge back too. Cuba makes a lot of great Hermoso 4 vitolas and I’d get a box of these if they ever came up. Draw a tad tight.
