Rye Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 2011 La Escepcon RE Italy. Phenomenal smoke would swear its aged at least 5-6 years I am crying over having only 2 sticks left. What a treat they are!
jabuan Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Had my first BBF. it was from 11. wow! i'm new to habanos and haven't even smoked a handful. but i really dig the BBF.
mk05 Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 That is so odd Claus. I've had such great experiences with all your nemesis cigars haha
kevinfj Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Hated this when I first purchased the box. But, they have really aged well......
CanuckSARTech Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Are Jorge and Mons the same person? No. One is an older man named Enrique. One is a mid-forties man named Jorge Real Lopes. I figured that would answer the question as to why they would taste differently. Enrique Mons is the "namesake" creator of the cigar. However, he hasn't rolled them (generally) for years. His protege does, Jorge Lopez Leal (close, Shlomo, but no cigar! LOL). I believe that it's been Jorge that's rolled them exclusively for roughly the past 5 or 6 years (Nino may have more specifics on that). And for what it's worth, the ones we picked up this past November, the ones that are in essence the 15th Anniversary batch I believe, are some of the greatest I've had. Wonderful stuff.
bstarrs Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 PSD4 with an Innis & Gunn Rum Finish watching Hannibal(Tv series). I cannot believe that they are getting away with airing this on broadcast tv...
BonVivant Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 BTO JUL 12 BHK 52 warning: Be careful to not burn your fingers
Puros Y Vino Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Party Short for lunch. A 2011 stick. Very good earthy flavours, typical Partagas but not as complex as their larger smokes.
sw15825 Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 From Memorial Day, just got around to posting it RASS MUR JUL 12 Amazing richness and flavor, without being harsh to the end. Somewhat muddled but it seems like the blend is right in these. IMO, will be glorious in a couple more years!
dangolf18 Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 78 degrees here in San Francisco (26 degrees Celcius). Feels a LOT hotter as UV index is 11/12. Smoking another fantastic Monte No.4 from '10. Everyone from my box has been 92+ points.
Tino Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Upmann Royal Robusto Nov 12, so great now it'll be hard to leave them alone. Paired with a Meantime IPA
kevinfj Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 BBF. My go to. Paired with FJ IPA (home brew) on a HOT New England night. Epic....
kevinfj Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Upmann Royal Robusto Nov 12, so great now it'll be hard to leave them alone. Paired with a Meantime IPA 750 ml at 7.50% ABV. Sweet!!
mbrody Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Partagas P1 - a third in and I am in 93/94 territory I am convinced that HSA should immediately release these as regular production. What a blend...albeit different than a D4 and an 898V or Short, it screams partagas but adds some new twists.

Lotusguy Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Continued from my Punch no-tobacco day I am sticking with this Marca in a sort of vertical test. Starting out with a Punch Margaritas BD2008. On deck for later a Petit Punch, a Petit Corona, and a Ninfas, as time permits.
