N2 - It’s got a lot going on. Tiny V cut since it is a bit loose. Has a slight floral soap to start and builds adding increasing cayenne and grass. Finishing medium full.  An interesting change of pace journey. My only construction criticism is a very flaky ash.

We took an early morning train up to Florence so my daughter could make it to her class on time. This seemed as good a way as any to kill a couple of hours until she is out of class.

Media Luna at the rooftop bar at my hotel.  There has been an opera going on in the piazza down below that I have been listening to while smoking this cigar.  This place is magical.

Number 2 for the night.  A NOV 2022 JL1. Started out as what I would consider brash. Rough edge, slight bitterness. Probably need another nap. Settled down after a few minutes, but I was looking for some citrus twang and I'm missing that. My JL2's have that orange citrus whang to it, but these don't. This has a sweeter, woody tone to it. Still a good smoke. Happy Memorial Day to  whoever it may concern.

The CPE'S I've had were all phenomenal. I have one more box and I'm trying to keep my hands off them.

2019 Talisman - Really good cigar. Very different from most Cohibas I’ve had. Rich musty bit of barnyard and bitter chocolate and a tiny bit of prune sweetness.

Was given this by a younger member of the Quesada family this weekend. I do not know how these taste broadly but this one is extremely good. Needed a v cut draw was a bit tight which I like.

Not tight, but not producing smoke. Lots of relights. Promising taste. But had to ditch it. 4 stalks pulled out too.
