Fonseca Cosacos. No pic today, but just to mention that this has seemingly undergone a transformation in taste compared to the previous ones I had, which were very bland and kinda meh. This one strongly tasted of sweet black tea, hint of vanilla, a floral quality, but much stronger flavours and profile than the others I'd had. Given that the last one was only 3 weeks ago, it cannot be age. There are only two factors I can put down the change to: first is that I re-seasoned one of my humidors and these were the sticks that went in that. Second is that I recently changed from a straight cut to a V-cutter and it's possible that concentrated the flavours more. However, it's also just possible the others were duds or that something up was up with my taste at that time. Hard to say. Cigars continually fascinate me with what they can bring on any given day. Much more an art than a science. If every Cosacos was like the one I had tonight, they'd be a firm favourite, but time will tell I guess.

Sig VI, TPO OCT 19. This was excellent, and so it should be. First of the box that has seemed ready. Tight draw, needed a poke to open it up. Then a lovely burn, medium body, full of rich flavour (more Linea Classica than 1492), and a very pleasant time in the sun.

To me Fonsecas are most often bland or at least very mild. But sometimes not. This matches what I've experienced.
