An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

C&C ‘14 especiales. Fantastic start to the day C&C with a Monte 4 C&C time today with a Perla picked up from 24:24

Recently acquired a sealed box of 2001 Punch Monarcas A/T(PUL ABR 01) never had one before.....cracked the box and dry boxed one for two days.....for 2001 cigars, these are perfect, no construction issues on the surface and this example smoked beautifully, no plugs, etc.....veiny wrapper and nice firmness when squeezed, I wonder if aged tubed cigars benefit from their sealed environment?....smoked for about 2.5 hours.....most prevalent flavor to me was a black cherry taste, loved this....also very surprised how strong this cigar is, very strong but not overpowering like a Cazadore, etc...reminded me of the SS#2 profile.....I think this is one of my top 5 boxes of my collection if they all smoke like this first example.....what a treat!

You had good intention and you answered him but he comes here, makes sarcastic comments and leaves. Just look at his comments in general. I also know because of his attitude and comments here vs another board. For the most part, it's day and night difference.

I've come across people like this on other forums as well, rather bizarre.

It also depends heavily on what leaves the cigars are rolled from. I know I MUCH prefered Lopez's Havana House chosen tobacco rolls as opposed to some that I have tried of his straight from Cuba. Maybe it was in my head, but the Havana House tobacco just seemed richer while the Havana rolled cigars seemed somewhat rough and kind of bland if that makes sense.

I know it is technically the same tobacco, but its possible he had more free reign to chose what he wanted from excellent stock here, while in Cuba maybe the storage is not up to the same level and he is competeing with other torceadores for premium leaves.

Just a thought.

As usual you have it all wrong.

I have a box of these have not smoked one in 3-4 yrs truly am amazing cigar, the bc flavor reminds me of PBP but, a much more complex cigar is the Monarca, got to pull one out soon, the tubes I find take longer to age but, keep the cigar in a better conditon

RA Superiores this afternoon. Awesome cigar. Packed with flavour. Never boring. Some cayenne pepper notes, cedar, leather and yes...."stewed fruit"... though not as much as an RACF or Super Ramone. :P

My forth horrid Upmann Noellas from the Jar. Even 3 years later, they are still utter crap :tantrum:

Then a decent Partagas D 4 Tubo BD 2010

Finally a great Cohiba Siglo II Tubo BD 2010.
