And now for something completely different…

Now I’d never pony up the going rate for one of these, but if someone else is buying, I’m all in just to see what the fuss is about. Such is the case here, as my non-smoking boss took a few of us to Vegas early this year for the builders show - all expenses paid including cigars at the Davidoff Experience. And this was one of the cigars I wanted to experience. It’s quite pleasant, I have to say. There’s even a nice touch of sweet barnyard in the aroma. I’m definitely enjoying it so far.

Wow! Nice treat from the boss! I've been to the Davidoff cigar bar in Vegas. It's a fun atmosphere! Overpriced, but a treat. Glad you got to experience that on his behalf 👍

Yes, it’s a great place where a good time was had by all, and it helped that it was a Monday night, when everything’s half off. 
 

i have to say, that was a really good cigar, and it ended at the 3 hr mark!

I loved this N2 Pyramide, my first of a five pack competition prize. Beautiful looking cigars. Very open draw, but it wasn’t a problem at all: it sort of ‘snugged up’ when lit.

I can totally see the RA character here. The dominant profile is a vegetal sweetness balanced with attractive bitterness. Think padron peppers and a dirty martini. Similar trick to the ‘sweet and sour’ of Partagas, but in a darker register. No ‘currant fruit’ though, which some RA have. It evolved nicely, burned great and held its interest all the way. Steady medium body and nicotine. Smoked it until my fingers were burning.
