Rye Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Maybe the last smoke from this great and smoky weekend. The first time I've tasted hints of true RA profile. Hopefully a sign of things to come!

fokker4me Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Smoking a LaGloria Cubana Triunfos exclusivo Suiza from 2009.
Misterblue Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 My favorite! (Cigar that is. The beer is just cold, and good) Rye...love the antler base!
Lotusguy Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 It did not impress me. Very mild medium. Mostly cedar/woodsy notes. Aroma at cold was very fruity and spicy. It's too bad none of that came through. I probably won't smoke another for a year or so. At least yours had the correct band - saw pics of a box that had the "Canada" band instead of "Asia Pacifico". Cuban quality control at work
BonVivant Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Partagas C1 from the recent book and an authentic Monsdale from 2011 - fabulous is an understatement for those
mbrody Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 08 Teb Boli PC - bangin cigar. Later, Czar Custom - rich and flavorfull. Not overly complex, but very satisfying. Another 3-5 yrs and I believe these will be at their peak. Wish I had a bundle.
Ophidion Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Smoking a really delicious PLP on the jersey shore. Nice to see we still have some smoker friendly beaches. Also nice to see that the beach isn't still a mess from Sandy.
Orion21 Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 One of the best cigars in my humidor and it pairs well with a great IPA.
kevinfj Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 One of the best cigars in my humidor and it pairs well with a great IPA. Great cigar. Great IPA. Great combo. Love Stone. If you ever get to San Diego area, go to the brewery. It's worth the trip. FJ.
CBL Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 My birthday cigar for this year. A lonsdale custom rolled by Ana on Saturday.
Troels Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Bolívar corona 06. Bought various half full boxes of cigars recently from a guy that had been mistreating them. From the moldy smell I thought is was a big mistake - this one proves me wrong though. Too bad they a so hard to come by
Orion21 Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Happy Memorial Day! A very young and twangy 520. These will be stellar in a couple of years.
next Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Finally siglo V1 08 turned a beautiful smoke. Glenlivet.... 18...... very good taste!
bstarrs Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 I'm having a JLS2 on my patio watching a movie at the moment. It's from a May or June 2010 box and it has to be one of the strongest cigars I have ever smoked. I'm getting down near the end of the box and I don't recall any of the previous sticks having been this strong and nicotine laden. I mean this cigar is really beating me up. Anyone else have any experience with this cigar getting stronger as it ages?
