An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

C&C ‘14 especiales. Fantastic start to the day C&C with a Monte 4 C&C time today with a Perla picked up from 24:24

How was it ?

Bold flavours with pronounced spice.

Incredibly well balanced and smooth.

As with anything Davidoff, the burn and draw were both impeccable.

This particular one was gifted to me and now I find myself looking for a box. 😉

Hope this helps, my brother.

Japan still maintains a tolerant attitude towards smoking and cigars, and there are many bars with depth! Welcome back to Japan soon !

If visiting, I assume one should should bring their own cigars to Japan?  And to such bars?

We extended our stay, but had to switch hotels in order to do it.  This is the final day of our vacation.

The sun rises late here.  Smoking an early AM Siglo VI.

Looks great! Enjoy the remainder of the holiday mate.

San Cristóbal de la Habana Oficios LCDH (FIN DIC05).

A wonderful weekend to you all.

How was it?  I have a FEB 06 box buried in the humidor somewhere. People seem to think the Oficios are the ugly stepchild of the three.

Had the pleasure of enjoying all three vitolas over the years but unfortunately, I am down to my last few of these ones. ☹️

The Oficios were definitely the most rustic looking of the three releases.

Despite their rustic appearance though, the two boxes I went through were impeccable. (FIN DIC05) & (EMA SEP08)

No issues whatsoever with burn, draw and overall construction. More than adequate smoke production as well.

Although not the most complex cigar, the flavours are well integrated and balanced.

Earthiness, notes of coffee and roasted nuts.

There is also a subtle hint of sweetness through the smoking experience.

The one I just smoked had plenty of legs left, to be quite honest.

Hope this helps, my fellow brother.

My 06 Oficos were severely underfilled. Tossed that box in trash during last move! Had better luck with Mercaderes and Muralla.
