Decided to do some glamping on Emerald Isle with  JL2 and Buffalo Trace. Despite being glued together it's still doing very well.

This is a ‘19. Really didn’t deliver for the first few years and now it’s 93-95! Stone fruit, oatmeal and cream.

My mag50 ‘19 box is my best smoking box I have in my humidor currently.

Revisit on these last evening. Lots of oak wood notes, coffee, butterscotch sweet in the middle section. Some layer cake and cream notes there also. Final third it showed some elbows.

Had to get the smog test on the car. Stopped by the local cigar lounge on the way there, so I had something to do while I wait.

PLMC (BRM APR 23) on a rainy day, after 30 days rest at 62% rh.  ~60 min. to the band, ~80 min. till the last half-inch.  Burned beautifully despite the ~100% ambient, voluminous smoke production for such a skinny, no touchups required, only had to relight once around the mid-point but I blame that on my slow pace.  The cap smelled bready, and I got some warm salty nuts during the second third, but none of the caramel or dried fruit everyone talks about, then again this was basically ROTT.  Feels sexy in the hand.

PLPC and a cup of mud for breakfast. Walked down to the beach to watch the surfers riding the waves from hurricane Lee. Those boys are a different breed.
