I've been trying to catch a photo of the hummingbird that always visits me on the patio, but he's too skittish and way too fast. 4

Popular Post TheFullMontecristo Posted September 6, 2023 Popular Post Posted September 6, 2023 2023 N4 Petit Corona. Started off a bit peppery but quickly settled down. Razor sharp burn and a flawless draw which I've come to expect. Superb. 16

Popular Post Puros Y Vino Posted September 6, 2023 Popular Post Posted September 6, 2023 Many of us probably have special, celebration cigars and or boxes. Whether they be for a birth of a child, a wedding anniversary, etc. Some smokes also serve to help us remember and commemorate less, lighter events. On this day in September 1989, my father passed away far too young for a wife and three boys to bear. As I write this I am 1 year younger than he was when he passed. I've been without my father, longer than with. My mother had lost the love of her life and had to pick up the pieces and carry on. He was a vivacious soul who loved a good smoked and drink. To mark this occasion, I'll reflect with a cigar that is closest to that fateful year in my possession. A 1988 Diplomaticos No 7. I'm pairing it with some DiSaronno on the rocks. It's a drink he enjoyed outside of Italian wine. Here's to you Mario. Gone, but not forgotten. 29

Popular Post hangten Posted September 8, 2023 Popular Post Posted September 8, 2023 RP sun grown Maduro. A little too empty of a draw. And not really the best burn either. Post:. This cigar became way too squishy, had to touch up multiple times. Not a good one this time. Ended it half way. I will not revisit. 15
Popular Post messi Posted September 8, 2023 Popular Post Posted September 8, 2023 Morning cigar in Beijing , it's drizzling, nice smoking with a cup of coffee. 24
Popular Post Grady Posted September 8, 2023 Popular Post Posted September 8, 2023 Another monte 3 from the ROP OCT 21 box. Took my time with this one, ~1:20 to get to the last half inch, and I’m still getting nothing but cocoa off it, none of the cream, biscuit, sweet spice, citrus zest, etc. from the tasting notes. Don’t think the hot humid weather here is entirely to blame, burn was flawless without need for a single touch-up or relight. Maybe revisit in a year. 22
