For me; the construction and feel of the cigar were amazing. Wrapper fantastic. Great flavor overall. But I did not go beyond “this is a good cigar”. I have another couple I bought so let’s see on the next attempt. have you had stunning examples as others in the forum? 2

Popular Post Glass Half Full Posted August 31, 2023 Popular Post Posted August 31, 2023 Am thankful that Charleston missed the wrath of Idalia this aftenoon/evening, and in respect of news reports to date of her challenges to others, I'm hopeful many can say the same. Decided to light a wonderful NC after a stressful day. I'm hoping that all are spared the challenges, and -- in any event -- can enjoy some respite with a good cigar. ps: Just went across to a friends house: Water was crazy high, though thankfully lower than their entry. This has always been the Low Country but it seems a good bit lower now -- and we didn't even have a real hit this time. 21
Popular Post havanaclub Posted August 31, 2023 Popular Post Posted August 31, 2023 Haven’t had one of these in a while. Last from the box and I am glad I have another box resting. BOP DIC 17 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 22
Popular Post ChangBang Posted August 31, 2023 Popular Post Posted August 31, 2023 Attempting to refine my palate and see which one I prefer. Both chateau Fuentes, natural vs maduro. Both different but head to head, the differences really stand out! Like both for different reasons, not sure if I can choose a definite winner. Maybe I just need to buy a box and see how they age! Need to get a sungrown too and see how it stacks up 16

Popular Post Glass Half Full Posted September 1, 2023 Popular Post Posted September 1, 2023 I always enjoy more cigars around and (hopefully) following an escape from a weather event. ...So, lit up a Coloniales bought some years back as a single, said to be MSE Mar 2012. In hindsight, I wish I'd let it age for several more years, as it was all power and lacked the transitions hoped for. Nice and full flavors, but less than expected; maybe best to have experienced before price increases changed expectations... 27

Popular Post karp Posted September 2, 2023 Popular Post Posted September 2, 2023 Recents… La Fuerza, HU Connie A, and Edmundo. Best Connie A I’ve had in a while - possibly cigar of the year for 2023. Build up from fruit and coffee to nuts and leather was subtle and very tasty. 29
