A glorious original release Mag 50 from a JUN 08 50 cab.  Paired up with one of my favorite spirits- an El Jolgorio Tepeztate Mezcal.  These guys are making small batch mezcal from wild agave varietals and it’s amazing just how varied the flavor profiles can be from one varietal to the next. These are so much more interesting and distinctive than 99% of tequilas IMO.  Give them a try.

Cracked a new box of TRU FEB 19 JL2. Same code as the last box I recently finished. It was a very good box and this one is also off to a very good start.

Just smoked an RG panatela extra. Plain wrapper I picked up in Canada about a month ago as a single. A surprisingly excellent smoke. Might pick up a box actually at some point in the future. A very pleasant surprise, although mostly a one trick pony.

2020 Mag 54 at the casino for my bday in South Lake Tahoe. 2018 P2 back at home. Went to the Edgewood restaurant for dinner. Views, wine, and food were amazing.

I don’t normally do a morning post but just finishing up this Puro Desnudo petit corona that I received just under a month ago. I start most mornings with a petite corona along with an americano and this first try of this one has been very good. Perfect construction and good flavour. If they continue like this and hopefully improve a bit more with time, they could become part of my rotation.
