Thought they might be made in same factory by Oscar so I grabbed a Connecticut and Maduro. Always thought it was a gimmick, but since Rob & Hamlet are using his factory (if I read that correctly) - figured give it a try. Really enjoyed the Conn.  definitely pick up a few more and when in the lounge will smoke it. Probably will try the 2012 line if find it in the lounge.

A glorious original release Mag 50 from a JUN 08 50 cab.  Paired up with one of my favorite spirits- an El Jolgorio Tepeztate Mezcal.  These guys are making small batch mezcal from wild agave varietals and it’s amazing just how varied the flavor profiles can be from one varietal to the next. These are so much more interesting and distinctive than 99% of tequilas IMO.  Give them a try.
