Cracked open a 50 cab of EBO FEB 21 HDM Epi 2’s. Very good first cigar.

JL1  grabbed an old cutter, knew it was about to shear off the cap but pulled the cord anyway, yep right off. F. Then lit it instantly sour, knew it was tunneling, grabbed the same cuttter to cut off an inch and proceeded to really smash cut it. Yes tunneling, but now it looked like a joke cartoon exploded cigar. Took a deep breath and grabbed a single edge razor blade and cut another inch off. Relit it and took this pic. Amazingly it’s excellent. Might just start whacking off the first couple inches of these and ouila a 90 point petite somethingoranother.

Special one tonight for me.  Just moved back into my home after traveling for a year with the family.  Amazing adventures but feels good to be back.  After several days catching up with friends and family am settling into one of my favorite reads with one of my all time favorite smokes.  And it just celebrated a 20th birthday, CVA MAR 03 Sir Winston.

Sorry if I'm thick, ...but is "Corker" a bad thing or a good thing?  I was thinking that it was "bad" (as in, plugged) but it may be that I'm not attuned to current usages.  ...As in, "it's been a minute" which I didn't understand till last year, in the U.S. at least, really means "it's been way too long."   No doubt I'm showing a certain age.

A corker is a good thing - https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/corker

I can definitely see why you might think plugged, but I'm not sure the English language was heavily influenced by poorly rolled Cuban cigars, though the origins of the term are not the most clear cut so you never know.

I have only tried a few of these so far. They are OK (I’ll go as far as good), can’t say much more than that at this point. They are better than my ability to pick the right horses on a Friday at Saratoga that is for sure.
