NC today. 2000 series 702. Davidoff makes some acceptable smokes for those with CC preferences. This is dark fruit and brioche and doesn't give me that tar nicotine load on my tongue like strong NCs.

This cigar was a total wind tunnel, the foot was firm but somehow started to peel and the cigar was completely bitter. I quit halfway through.

What causes bitterness in a cigar? It was really unenjoyable.

Usually it's caused by an under-filled cigar. It can be tough to smoke through when you encounter it, yes.

With Padron, even though they are rolled to be slightly loose in draw, they are noted for their consistency in flavour delivery and construction so it's a shame this occurred for you.

It's also important to note padron anniversaries always have a loose draw. I could see how someone might mistake it for a wind tunnel if they are used to taking big tugs. Padron's need to be basically kissed and you will have plenty of smoke to indulge.
