Purely anecdotal observation, but I believe they are different. Whether now intended or not, at the least a different run. While the Regalías had been on a general upswing since 2017 from my experience, this one quite consistently is a notch above. Also showing a different finish.
The db-version comes with more variability in my book, though / therefore when you're lucky there also is the occasional gem to be found in there.

How hot in your part of the country? It hit 102° today in Boise, ID, which is cooler than the last three days (104°, 106°, 105°).

Gave away most of this box. I first bought these in 2017/18 and they were just not good. Only had a couple left and I’m trying not to smoke my Cubans since I’m priced out. This one was really good and made me regret giving the others away. Age did them well.

2021 E2 - Tasty, Complex and smoooooth. My favorite Partagas

In anticipation of the 2023 Nudie Carlota's arrival, I lit up two of the 2021s -- maduro and rosado.  These have aged well!  

While I don't sense the complexity of the two 2023 Nudies I've had so far, the flavors of these 2021s are quite pleasant, ...and the rosado is pulling ahead of the maduro now, IMO, which is a switch from what I recall when these were issued.  These older ones are still a bit linear to me, but the flavors are very rich and enjoyable.  Looking fwd to the new version! 

Taking back a bit of the above:  The last third of the 2021 Carlota Rosado really picked up in strength and intensity, in a wonderful way.

It's been about the same here in So Cal. Ranging from 102° to 106°

Although, surprisingly that Sunday was a lot cooler because some dark clouds rolled in. It was like 90. But yeah, this week is as you have stated. Looking forward to some cooler weather for sure. 👍
