Popular Post Bri Fi Posted July 16, 2023 Popular Post Posted July 16, 2023 Canonazo. My fourth. This one with the required rest. These will definitely do to meet my needs as I’m priced out of cuba. Also it was 106F today so I’ve realized with the heat that a little pool water on the wrapper keep these things smoking wonderfully and not let it get hot 22
Popular Post Capn_Jackson Posted July 16, 2023 Popular Post Posted July 16, 2023 RyJ Añejados Churchill, courtesy of our excellent host! Pre-2008, according to the silver tube and label, and my conversation with @GaryK 54. Started off good, but ending up great in the second half! 21 1
Popular Post Jerryvonkramer Posted July 16, 2023 Popular Post Posted July 16, 2023 Partagas Maduro No 3. First draw punches you in the face with dancing spices and pepper, calms down after a bit to give way to strong chocolate, some wasabi on the retrohale, classic Partagas paprika in background. Final third gets stronger but very balanced. A knock out. 95!! 20

Popular Post Arabian Posted July 17, 2023 Popular Post Posted July 17, 2023 Perfect construction, perfect draw, and rich Cuban twang. It was my cigar of the year and so far still my top cigar. I wish all CC are made like this. 24

Just couldn't smoke in grandstands and common areas. We had general admission. So a few stretches here and there. There weren't many smokers overall. Saw a few smoke a cigarette here and there and a few vapers. Weed however, was prohibited everywhere. No one around me seemed bothered. 1

Popular Post Ford2112 Posted July 17, 2023 Popular Post Posted July 17, 2023 Look I tried to get some work done today but it's just too nice out. Plus I like E2 cigars better than sanding decks. 24 1

Popular Post Jerryvonkramer Posted July 18, 2023 Popular Post Posted July 18, 2023 Oliva Serie V Robusto. Pretty much done with NCs at this point. This whole Oliva series is so bland. I don’t like the elephant-skin like Ecuadorian wrappers and the Nicaraguan filler is just one note and that note is “tobacco”. Meh. 70. Bolivar Royal Corona. I have to admit I just don’t get Bolivar. Everyone says they are rich but I get very little but a bit of wood and vanilla. Many swear by these but I don’t get it at all. Whole lot of nothing. 73. 16
Popular Post Glass Half Full Posted July 18, 2023 Popular Post Posted July 18, 2023 Enjoyed my first of the 2023 Nudie Cañanazos on Sunday. Wonderful flavors, construction and some transitions, though I agree with the consensus that more time may well bring greatness. To see what the future might bring, I lit another cañanazo with a little more age last evening. Identical feel in the hand and lovely strength and flavors ...though an entirely different taste profile, of course. Excellent cigar though IMO. 17
