This is one of the most relentlessly sweet sticks I’ve ever come across, just pure honey that doesn’t let up. It’s a bit like actually just eating honey. I’ve likened it before to dry honey-nut cornflakes. This doesn’t match most descriptions I see of it which consistently mention pepper. I get no pepper even on a retrohale. Just lashings of honey. I mean don’t get me wrong I like honey but they’ve been amazingly one-dimensional for me. Punch 48. Never been much of a Punch guy as I’ve not got on well with the Punch Punch or the Coronations, but this was truly superb. The dominant flavour is peanut butter, to an extent that is genuinely surprising as you don’t expect peanut butter from a cigar.
