1999. And it was awesome. So smooth. Retrohale all the way. Light creaminess. Mild yet aromatic. A light twang. Musty. And a slight sweetness that built up to some dried fruits at the end. Nothing overpowering. Lovely balance. Enthralled for just over an hour. 2 left... 🥹 

Also perfectly constructed. Cigar was hard to the touch. And there draw was perfect. Even fixed itself! 🤗

I bought one of these NC's at the cigar store near my beach house, and I liked it, so I stopped in before coming back to NJ and bought another one.  I remember liking them when they first came out, back before it was easy to get Cuban cigars online.  They're not as good as I remember them, but they are still pretty good as far as NC's go.

Fonseca No.1 UTL MAY 18. I bought two boxes of these and they’ve been overwhelmingly floral that they are unsmokable. I smoked one on vacation in Cabo for the first time in over a year and it was amazing. Had another one and i think these have officially turned a corner. Zero floral notes. I’m happy where these are right now. I watched the FOH review of these from 2017 and tried running it under the water first. Not sure if it mattered but overall it was a solid 91 point cigar.

Upmann Connie 1, my first, out of a handful of singles and 3 months in humidor.  It tasted to me a lot like the Connie A, not a bad thing since I like them as well - maybe aging the rest will bring out distinctive flavors.
