Took my convertible out of storage for the summer so celebrated with a GEM SEP 20 Monty Leyenda. It was a good day.

How much age on those?  Curious on how it smoked - I have a box of tubos resting but have not had the itch yet to dig in. I think mine are about three years old rn.

Well, I was organizing a box of my custom rolls - sorting to put like kind together and using some ribbon for bundles to take the sticks out of their ziploc bags. 
I got up to get to the other side of the table and heard a crunch. An EL Sig VI had rolled away from its group. Turns out I stepped on it and caused the wrapper to be damaged about a third of the way down. 
well it’s a nice day and I can work in my porch so rather than looking at this stick again, I opted to smoke it today. 
so far so good - the binder is keeping the draw quite normal.

Really good OER JUL 20 PDC. Lots of dark chocolate and coffee with the maduro wrapper, ready to smoke now but imagine these will age incredibly well!

2nd Padron in as many days. Why did I cut the entire head off the cigar? Well, after I dropped it and cracked the head, I tried to punch it, then I tried to V-cut it, but the mutilation was too extensive. Long story short, bourbons were involved. Oh well. This Exclusivo has been in my humi for over a year, and it’s just where I like it.

PLPC. These are under 3 years old. The box is smoking fantastic. I was planning on aging some but I see no need. They are excellent construction-wise and in flavor. This one was easy 92 points.

Tried my first Partagas Serie D No 4 (from our host), this afternoon, what a great cigar. Notes of cocoa, cedar, and light pepper to start, pepper faded after the first few puffs, then transitioned into floral notes about midway though. Burn and draw was spot on the entire way through. Very good cigar.
