An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

C&C ‘14 especiales. Fantastic start to the day C&C with a Monte 4 C&C time today with a Perla picked up from 24:24

Pretty much this entire box is just meh. Price point wise I’d rather have a box of BPC

That was how I used to feel about most HdM cigars (with the exception of elegantes, which I’ve enjoyed young).  …However, thanks to @Colt45’s collection and thanks to insights from others, I am now holding all HdMs for 10+ years.  It may be that the older ones were made better (or that you have a bum box, which happens, unfortunately), …But you may also have some “diamonds in the rough.“

Maybe put the box in the back of the humidor and forget about it for a long, long while.  No harm in trying to see what some age brings.

Just a suggestion.

As mediocre as my hdm boxes are, I’m willing to put them in the back and forget them. Never really thought of hdm as an aging brand considering how light bodied they are. Thanks for the advice.
