America’s oldest park! Fitting for such a classy smoke. Stopped by J Perrotti tobacconist, neat shop if not short and gruff employees.

HAHA, if it's still the same scary-looking guy with the pipe in his mouth... he's been there since the 1990s (or longer)....he's the owner. I bought a box of Opus X torpedoes from him in 1996 before they went on ration soon thereafter.  He's always in a bad mood.  Seems like it mighta rubbed off on everyone else there crazy enough to work for him.  Massachusetts became impossible for in-state buyers back in the late 1990s...Taxachusetts. Everyone sensible here orders from elsewhere or takes a short drive over NH border.  We used to have multiple awesome cigar vendors here before things went crazy.  And we could always have an after-dinner cigar at multiple restaurants until early 2000s.

This is next on my list.. how are they coming along? Wait or smoke .?

They are good now.  They have been getting better and better since they came out, but I have really enjoyed the last 2 that I smoked.  Will they get better still with more age?  Very possible, but they are not disappointing now.

I live in Western Massachusetts. I can totally relate. I go to Connecticut or New Hampshire. When I'm in Boston, I will stop in to LJ Perreti's

Boston commenters: gotta patronize LJ Peretti's. One of the oldest tobacconists in the country, dude is gruff but he will open up if you make an effort. It's Boston style. Love that place, the history is all-enveloping.

I like the Moncler flip flops! My wife goes bonkers every winter so the fact that I now have to worry about summer gear has me worried!

Yeah, they make some cool stuff.  How much winter clothes does she need in Vero Beach, Florida?

I keep holding out for these to show up on 2424.  🤞

They seem to show up about once a week, or every other week. You have a good chance. 🤞

it is the second home in Steamboat! I did all the math on rental revenue but failed to factor in Moncler gear, Rookie mistake!

I heard Steamboat is a good investment.  I looked into it a couple of years ago. They are building a real ski village there?

This past Christmas my luggage was delayed going to Vail, and my winter coat was in my suitcase, so I was stuck in The Rockys without a coat.  I decided to gamble and went into the Moncler store in Vail Village and bought one of their most expensive men's coats.  I turned in the receipt and filed a claim with the airline, figuring they would pay like $500 of it, but to my surprise they paid the whole thing.  Still sucked to not have my luggage for 2 days, but that made me feel a whole lot better about the situation.

we bought a few years ago, so far it has been a great investment principal-wise! Nightly rates are also starting to head higher and property taxes are super low and easy to clear. The base will never be like a Vail situation but yes they are putting alot of money into developing the base (and expanding the terrain). Steamboat is more about the town which is 10 min or so from the base and easy to shuttle/drive to. The base has a bunch of good spots too. I know you are a NJ guy they also have a direct flight now on UA from EWR to HDN which is about 30 min from the mountain. PM me if you want more info, I know you guys like to travel to the good spots, eat well, etc. I think Steamboat should be your radar…great restaurants….not Aspen (but I would say competitive with Vail overall) and IMO generally much better snow. Also super family friendly (I have a 4 year old who already rips it is hilarious) I have been lucky to ski alot of places and when we bought the combo of family, terrain, good powder, and relative value Steamboat was a no-brainer for us.
