Two firsts for me and a friend.

1) Our first ever experience with a Punch CC.  Punch Short de Punch Oct-20 MGL .  Found the primary flavors to be very cedar/wood forward and extremely enjoyable with great construction.

2) A 5 y/o bourbon from Tennessee that was very rich and sweet...first sip made me think of brown sugar soaked Levi Garrett chewing tobacco in a good and surprising way. Bottled in Bond with the abv to stand up to a bit of ice/water.

Arturo Fuente Don Carlos Eye of the Shark and a Siglo V in tow.  Gotta say, for me, the Shark outclassed the Siglo V.

Thanks to everybody who put this together.  Thanks for posting it.  Easily one of the most poetic and  informative pieces of media I've consumed about cigars.  Wonderful.
