I liked it a lot. I’ve got enough CC stock for a long time, years, but I’m always looking for some NC’s to supplement, so my stash can last even longer. Not as rich as a CC, maybe, but definitely full of good, mild flavors, to my palate. I’ll be getting a box of those, soon.

In San Antonio for a conference. Found a bar with a cigar balcony that allows you to bring your own smokes. I bought plenty of Buffalo Trace. I would never go into a lounge that allows outside smokes, and not give them business of some kind. On The Bend Oyster Bar and Cigar Lounge, on the Riverwalk. Tomorrow I’ll go to the Menger Hotel, next to the Alamo. They have a smokers garden, apparently, off the bar. Looking forward to it.

Been on a bit of a great cigar run here. Some boxes I’ve had that were bland (yes some 2019 boxes) have turned the corner and are fantastic! This ‘18 D4 is another one that needed some time and now is fantastic!

Round 1 and 2 with a great friend. I've been recently introduced into the glory of Party Ds, but this one was kind of "meh" all around. Smoker ok though. In contrast, this aged PLPC was a plate of yams with extra syrup! Amazing. And, my best bud got to try his first PLPC with me! He agreed.... At one point he said "there's a great flavor here, but I can't place it, it's like umami, but mushroomy" later, unprompted, he said "whoa, I think I just tasted caramel." Lol. Oh man.
