Orion21 Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 Started with a few puffs of a Cohiba Sig VI, then I let my dad try... Since he didn't give it back I am smoking the Anejo 46 pictured below. Quote from my Dad: "This Cohiba is the best cigar I have ever smoked!". Enjoy Dad
riazp Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 Thats awesome Aaron, I wish My dad enjoyed cigars...would be great to share one with him.
dangolf18 Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 [/url] I had picked this up in Prague about 2 years ago. Paid around 750czk which isn't too bad. One of the best cigars I've smoked.
Ssmith114 Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 Thats awesome Aaron, I wish My dad enjoyed cigars...would be great to share one with him. Becarefull what you wish for! Lol I recently introduced my dad to CCs (he never smoked any cigars before) and now I get a call on a regular basis telling me he's on his way over my house to grab one!! Lol
Lotusguy Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 Today my first Quintero Favoritos from a 5er I picked up in Stuttgart. Ugly as sin but rather nice. Just now a Partagas Serie C LE 2012. The good news is that it didn't taste like the generic LE taste. The bad news is that it tasted like a Partagas which is probably my least favorite of all of the higher end marcas Also picked up a couple of RE Jars and some singles yes, that's a Monte 520 - I wanted to give them one more shot... Also a RyJ Reserva, even though initial reports in Germany are abysmal.
jimb2u Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 I enjoyed an '09 RA Celestiales Finos and a pretty good Monte 2 given to me by a friend this evening
LLC Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 First one of these amazing so far Looking forward to trying one if mine.
Rye Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Last night a delicious Ramon Allones Ramonitas from '02 (thanks Prez!) Today, picked up a bunch more farmies, and smoked one with a good friend. I am SO grateful to have access to these!
Orion21 Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 An Illusione Singulare at my local B&M. Decent...
Ssmith114 Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 A fabulous PL Encanto after a long day of working on my truck
Charltonc Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Choix supreme from 06, magnum 46 from 08, and ramon allones superiores.
Bahnofstrasse Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Hi Bahnhofstrasse, I was today at the ...Bahnhofstrasse! From your picture it looks like you had better weather in Luzern though. This morning everything was white, snow at the end of April, WTF!?! Bad weather so a small cigar is preferable. I had a Monte #4 which was meh (it was one from a sampler I bought a while back, so no idea about age but guessing it was still quite fresh). Hpw about that snow!?! Could not believe it as you know how warm it was earlier in the week. Luzern weather was better than Zurich as the sun popped out for a moment. Have been taking around a friend who is new to Schweiz as we were in Salzburg on Friday, Luzern yesterday, heading to Zermatt today, Bought the 07 Bolivar PC at the HB shop as I also have a few things for the Matterhorn. Have some friends at Air Zermatt who will be taking us on a wonderful helicopter tour where I plan to fire up on the mountain weather permitting.
StefanJson Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 This afternoon I had a lovely HdM Petit Robusto.

Lotusguy Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Nice choices! I have the same jars and am looking forward to see how they taste :-) Jim Thanks! I've had several of both of the jar cigars before and really love the 5ta Avenida (though it definitely wasn't love at first sight). The JL I found rather bland but the collector in me couldn't resist. I love how all my jars look lined up
lemmiwinks Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 My beautiful wife made her version of Cuban Mac N Cheese (chunks of diced ham and garlic pickles, made with greyuere cheese) for dinner. After mealin' on that, time for a smoke:
