Boy this was a complete dog turd . At least 2 years of age and it was meh from the get go turning into yiuiuchhhh. I pitched it at the halfway point.

I know exactly how you feel. I had a Partagas Maduro No.3 yesterday on a glorious Summer's day which tunnelled soon after I lit it. No chance to save it, as it was rolled incorrectly, so it burned poorly around its core centre. 

It's a very rare occurrence, but still, yeah...it irks!

Enjoyed an Aganorsa Anniversario lancero this evening.  Started out almost with peppermint, and ended up with 2 halfs of progression (which IMO is better than many NC's).  Retros were important to the enjoyment.  Not sure I'd buy a box, but was happy to have tried.  ...It made me appreciate Nudies all the more

I've been smoking more than usual lately and fear I may be suffering from some palate burnout. Nevertheless, a few sticks from the past few days:

Hdm ep1- 7.5/10, flavor was light and a little lackluster with notes of paper. Construction was pretty good.

Buenaventura BV- 8/10 solid, but I feel it needs some time in the humidor so that the flavors have time to mingle and harmonize. 

Hup PC - 8.5/10 burned well and had a more robust flavor than I anticipated from these PCs. It definitely seems more full bodied than the HUP HCs, CMs, and Regalias that I've tried so far. But Ill need to smoke a few more before passing judgment.

AF Hemmi Short Story - 6.5/10 my wife and I both smoked one from the same box and agreed that this stick tasted harsh and ashy, with significant mineral notes. Construction was fine, especially for such a unique size. The lackluster flavor profile is unusual for these cammi wrapped classics in my experience.

RyJ SC - another well made cc from this 2022 box.d ll definitely performed much better than the RyJ Churchill turbos I smoked a couple weeks ago. I should let these rest longer but it's hard to resist! The flavor in the first half was excellent as well but developed some slight intermittent astringent notes in 2nd half (perhaps due to lack of age?). Admittedly, I had something unexpected pop-up while smoking and the cigar went out for about 30-45 minutes before I was able to come back and finish the smoke.
