Popular Post LLC
Recently a UEB AGO 18 Diplomaticos Nortenos RE Canada and it was outstanding. MGL SEP 20 RA No. 2. Enjoyable but not particularly memorable. PTG MAR 20 BBF was very good.
Popular Post shokao
Montecristo Especiales No. 2. Tasting great, looks like it was dipped in milk then coffee and sprinkled with cocoa. Very enjoyable from start to end. Got to keep an eye in a 25 box in 24:24. Unfortunately, missed the deal today. Better luck for me next time.

Popular Post Glass Half Full
This cigar started as an exercise in subtlety. ...The 2nd/3rd picked up substantially, and the the last third was wonderful -- an enjoyable contrast to CC's ...though no "twang" of course. Very glad to have gotten a handful of these but (IMO) didn't need a full box. Of course, expectations play a role. Just incredible construction -- went in to make a drink and came back to find it just as ready as when I left it -- ...but (to me) it's a delicious and enjoyable "contrast" despite what a great cigar it is. The absence of twang is just too much to ignore. 18

Popular Post Lamboinee
This is my last Hammer & Sickle Berlin Wall from approx. 2009/2010. It's a Honduran puro of the Eiroa lineage I believe. I remember it as a consistently tasty and toasty classic tasting cigar with corojo undertones. Albeit, somewhat one note. The wrappers were prone to cracking either because of their fragility, over/mis bunching, or both. It started off horribly with geriatric example with traces of astringent soaked moth ball bloomers. I thought it had sat for too long perhaps. But it got really excellent halfway through and stayed that way. Notes of tobacco. Side note: the bands are made of copper. They were rather tricky to remove without cracking the wrapper.
