Local blender. Imagrated from Cuba ~2003, got his business running in 2006. He was a former roller for Montecristo and HDM,  but I didn't ask what factory. Cuban seed tobacco grown in Nicaragua for the binder+filler, Habano Honduran Oscuro for the wrapper.

Monte Edmundo tubo from our host around the fire after hosting the friendsoween. Still has some edges due to age. But the Monte cocoa profile wants to break through with a pinch of orange peel. Gonna rest the balance and revisit in 6 or so months.

Decided to try a cigar I've been holding back on -- the RA EL No. 2. -- and (IMO) it still needs another couple of years.  Wonderful start, and the last 1/3rd was great, ...but there's much more to come in the future, I believe. 

For kicks, followed with a QdO Secreto -- including trying a trick learned from Rob and Ken about very briefly dunking the cigar in sparkling water... I don't know whether that's what made me appreciate the cigar more, but I surely did
