Usually more of a sparkling water person or lighter beer. Although, last JL2 I had paired great with Metropolis cold brew.

Edmundo today. Was a little light on taste, I recently switched my humidor from 70% to 65% bc of what I’ve learned on the forum. I’m feeling like all my sticks are kind of dried out?

IMO - The key to any coffee (great drip, great espresso, etc.) is great beans that are well roasted.  (To my taste, no added flavors are necessary, and (IMO) flavorings are generally added to obscure flaws.  Again, just opinion, and to each his or her (or their  own.)

If in the US, two of my favorite coffee roasters are:  Zeke's in Baltimore and Graffeo in San Francisco.  If you're really into coffee (with or without cigars) try brewing with some of that.  Critical to their delicious beans is that they are small batch and shipped very fresh.   (As that suggests, you can order online.)

 ..I also second the suggestion of sparkling water -- what a great palette refresher, especially when pairing coffee and cigars.  

Hopefully this is helpful -- and I'd be keen to know of other great roasters if any others care to make a suggestion.

First half of this La Fuerza had a crazy burn due to the gopher tunnel through it. Didn’t pitch it because flavor underneath was sublime. The tunnel ended at the half pole and this is now a hell of a smoke.

Davidoff Sig No. 2 tubos with a little over a year of rest. I opined that Davidoff signature blend was meh, but these are actually good with sufficient rest. Kind of a waste to smoke them fresh. Very balanced and complex smoke, these will continue to improve.

Davidoff Millennium with pairing by the thirds:

First - Rum Havana 7 years
Second - Whiskey Talisker 10 years
Third - Kahlúa Coffee Liquor

Also sparkling water to clear from flavors between thirds.

It was an interesting experience. Great cigar.
