Here’s a young PSD4, clearance box and not particularly spectacular looking (the photo flatters), from LTE FEB 22. Smoking really well. Classic Partagas just off-savoury, not as rich and interesting as the best examples, but good for near term smoking. A touch of pepper creeps into the last third, but nothing rough.

True. Yet, this was still not exactly out of balance (and granted, still young, and smoked on an empty stomach, just paired with a large coffee). Richness and body keeping strength in check. Med-full to just under full-bodied, with a lot of hallmark RyJ flavours, cherry, dark chocolate, but tending a bit more to the nutty/woody side. As you say quite fun, and although smoking regularly giving me for a moment some dizziness 😅

I've been trying to run through a sampling of global brands over the last 1-2 years ... H. Upmanns have been the most surprising to me so far. I'm going to start looking at weight, so far all CCs seem to weigh more than the weight posted in the cuban cigar wieght thread. Happy Friday to all!
