Another CK sampling. Different box (all La Corona), still that same gnarly wrapper/binder. But they are somehow slowly growing on me. Digging the hearty blend. Like a crossbreed between SC and Cazzy. Tasty. 😋

Very unlike me to have an NC, but a cigar shop opened up down the street, and as a good community member I will patron there. I'm actually not mad at this as I usually am. I hate ligero stuffed Nicaraguans, but this medium strength one isn't bad. Very linear and nothing thrilling, but good smoke.

 

EDIT: Nevermind this thing picked up in strength haf way through and I can barely taste anything. Junked it. Sad.

1988 Dip 7 with a Veneziana for a late breakfast.

BPC for a walk and a mini Toscano with a beer.

Interesting smoke. 1st cm or so very muted. Afterwards kept firmly on the side of dry woody flavors; cedar, oak, spices like nutmeg, cinnamon, coriander. Much transitioning, greener in the second half. Quite strong at times. Paired well with the Quinta do Noval 20 yo tawny port. Fantastic construction and burn. Much better than the one I had 4 months ago.
