Super Partagas.

First from a new MAR 19 box. Same age as the old box, but this was medium and quite sweet, while the ones from the old box are strong and a bit of a kick in the teeth.

Fundadores ARS JUL 19. The best of this box so far. Trinidad never seems ‘wow amazing!’ to me. But they can be such good, satisfying smokes when they are on. The sweetness is never heavy or sickly, there’s a little tea flavour for me that adds a lot of interest. Enough complexity and plenty of refinement. They behave so well as they smoke down. These will alas be special occasion smokes from now on.

Loving this. But when they're gone it's doubtful I'll buy more at current prices. Shame.
