This was from the box I judged in the ill-fated ROTT test. Good news is the flavors are very much there now. The bad news is these guys are fireproof!

Opened a new box of TLE OCT 21 Partagas P2’s. May have had the odd single in Cuba but this is my first box of these. Very good flavors until the last third but slightly under filled. With time and assuming better construction, these should be very good.

@Kaptain Karl My BSM feb 2021 famosos are insane, consistent 96+ pointers. Should have stocked up way more when they were $200 a year ago.

100% agree! They have LEGS too. Could go 10 years down and be spectacular!

This made up for last night's bust.   H Upmann Magnum 46 DIC 20.  I had 5 from the box last year and they were good.   A year later, this one is magnificent.   I'm tasting nut, coffee,  maybe biscuit.   Not a hint of sour.   In my top 5 smokes that I can recall.

The recent RAS forum topic made me recall I had a couple left from an average performing box. This one is above average.

Alex Canonazo.  My first time trying one of these Alex customs.  Not bad, nice draw, big smoke output. Flavor is at times very promising, other times a bit “green”.  Perhaps another year or two in humidor would do it justice.

SMA JUN 18. Nice kickoff for the weekend with a nice Picnic Island from Begyle.

Party Legado in Havana. Very interesting...in a good way. Silky smooth, refined and flavorful. Would have a hard time guessing it as a Partagas until about halfway when a little spicy earth crept in. 

And I love the Hermosos No. 2. Totally underutilized vitola.
