We live on a hill facing west towards the ocean and get pounded with spring winds and summer sun so it’ll be great to have some more peaceful cigar sessions back here! Enjoy the shade and the wind break. Very satisfying to be comfortable when smoking for sure. Another Cigar den of Eden. 5 1

Popular Post Rhinoww Posted June 7, 2022 Popular Post Posted June 7, 2022 Piss and moaning post #3. Enjoying a RASS from my singles tray. I think a PSP from a few years ago. Enjoying the stick and contemplating if it’s worth $15 for me in the future. Good news is I can wait on that dilemma that Habanos SA has created for us. I will need to get over that hump of repricing what I smoke and just enjoy it. I’m not there yet. While I can swing the higher prices for the bigger sticks it will take a lot of adjustments for mE to regularly put my coin there right now. still an enjoyable cigar. Hope things come back to normal on the bigger sticks or I’ll be smoking more PL, minutos and dare I say NC. Waiting for the second round of rain to arrive. Seems fitting for my mood. 26
Popular Post Bijan Posted June 7, 2022 Popular Post Posted June 7, 2022 All the talk of Reyes got me to smoke one again. It was my first one since last October. Great smoke. But I think I'll take an RG perlas or a Hoyo Deputy over it at the new prices. Just remembered the new Siglo I prices... 🥲 25

Another Cigar den of Eden. Hired a painter last night to seal the pavilion to keep the natural color for as long as possible. Once the sealer is dry the sign goes up to make the Cigarden name official! Congrats to @Kaptain Karl on his new install; and I dig the side panel(s) since wind break is a big deal. I was able to smoke comfortably last week in 30+ mph winds with my sun shades pulled down. Beats the hell out of the garage. 😁 5 1
Popular Post hrs1 Posted June 7, 2022 Popular Post Posted June 7, 2022 Usually reach for 1964, Family Reserve or thousand series, but went for a Padron 1926 no 1 after seeing them getting some love here. Not sure if it was the extra rest, but 1st half was exceptional and much less peppery than I remember. Got some "drift" in the second half, but overall a great cigar. 22

Are Espys still the going rate to get in or is it now a little lower bar now that those have gone to the moon? 1

Popular Post BlueRidgeFly Posted June 7, 2022 Popular Post Posted June 7, 2022 My first Connie 2, from the Christmas sampler. First third was excellent, which is always a bad sign... sure enough, the rest was a let down. But I think the others I picked up in January will benefit from some rest. Coloniales GLE JUL 20. The opposite of the Connie 2. First half was bland, latter half was excellent. Padron Anniversary 46 Year Maduro. I love Padron naturals, not as big on the maduros, but this was probably the best dark Padron I've ever had. Connie A BRE JUL 19 And the tastiest cigar I've had this past week, a PLP UBM ABR 18. Three boxes left, purchased in 2020 for $2 and change per stick. Hard to believe. 27
Popular Post Rhinoww Posted June 7, 2022 Popular Post Posted June 7, 2022 Piss and moan post 4 burning a Jefferson,er I mean Edmundo. These have never been my favorite but decent enough. Construction was good. Flavors good enough but not exceptional or remarkable really. Only a 1/3 in so some time to contemplate the value proposition going forward. At least I’ll have a lot of time to adjust. cat isn’t happy either. 23 1
Popular Post Kaptain Karl Posted June 8, 2022 Popular Post Posted June 8, 2022 JL1 with some age. Some nice orange and cola flavors. Was surprisingly a bit harsh in the 1/3. Not sure my palette is back just yet after getting Covid two and a half weeks back. Not sure why I pass over BPC’s as much as I do. They’re not sexy, but they’re the best PC going right now. FAR better than the JL1! 30

Popular Post Trinitysmoke Posted June 8, 2022 Popular Post Posted June 8, 2022 HDM Epi No 2 today, sorry no pic. I left myself a note last year that these weren't ready and to let them sit a year. They may need another year. Sour taste and burn issues caused me to give up on the second half. 7 2
Popular Post BoliDan Posted June 8, 2022 Popular Post Posted June 8, 2022 Monte especiales 2. Actually wish I went with my 2019 no 4s. This sadly has little flavor. 25
Popular Post RDB Posted June 8, 2022 Popular Post Posted June 8, 2022 QdO Corona Claro MSU OCT 18. Great looking cigar, fine construction… but a rather bland, one dimensional smoke. I don’t think modern QdO is for me. By contrast, a late night HU Half Corona GOS JUN 17 was bursting with complex bitter-sweet flavour. 27
Popular Post SigmundChurchill Posted June 8, 2022 Popular Post Posted June 8, 2022 How come lately whenever I smoke one of these Siglo VI's, I feel like 10 years from now I'm going to feel like that guy that spent 10,000 bitcoins on 2 Papa John's pizzas? Well, there it is. A picture of my 2030, 50 foot yacht burning to ashes. 🤣 21 12
