Big RG on these but my god what a blend, just kills it. 1.5hr but if it weren’t humid out could’ve gone 2 hr easy. Buttered toast, a little wood and light pepper, some sugarcane, a little of that floral rose water note, rich smoke. Killer.

Party E2… A few years have boosted them. Refined D4, very nice, marjoram at one point which was unusual but tasty.

Yesterday a SOM DIC 16 RA La Palmera. Great flavors but disappointing construction issues with some under filling. 
Today a OER OCT 20 RyJ Ex No. 4 while smoking my first brisket (point) on the KJ. Cigar was very good and happy with the brisket on my first try.

2009 LGC Tainos. Last of the first box of two I bought. Felt like smoking it to see if these were still “holds” or not. After a few subpar puffs in the first half inch or so it opened up to all of the crisp tobacco and floral goodness I remember. No cake flavor, though. But wow. What a cigar. Great vitola, feels great in hand. Easy draw, not a ton of smoke, but good burn throughout. Smoked down to maybe 2 inches left. Haven’t had one in probably close to 10 years and wondering why I waited.

Dat tasty Partagas 898 and Lusi indeed @Heels82! Wish I have boxes of Partagas 898 and Lusi since I'm a big fan of long CCs (Lusi is one of my all time fav CCs)😄

Here are two PCs: a Romeo Mille Fleur from UEB JUN 18, and a Monte no.4 from ASU ABR 18. Both PSP boxes, both unusually dark and oily. They have needed time to settle.

Both provided a really intense expression of their respective marcas. The Romeo is more representative: it majors on the classic rose petal & middle eastern spice, with an edge of red fruit, but darker and more sour than the classic ‘cherry’ flavours. Really good intensity, good build through the smoke.

The Monte is much darker and spicier than would be considered classic. (Strong sunlight in the photo makes it seem less dark than it was.) There’s an almost burnt baking chocolate undertow, with edges of coffee and liquorice. Damp dark earth, woody spices but not drying because it feels so rich. Really good, but miles away from your milk chocolate, claro-colorado wrapper Monte 2 experience.

Incidentally, if anyone offered to give me another box of either of these, or a random box of Siglo II, it would be an easy easy choice.

Much agreed! I really like long CCs and and I can tell Lusi is the absolute CC delight for sure. I'm sure Partagas 898 will do a job for me too 😄

Since most of Korean cigar lounges' business hours returned to normal, I'm now able to resume Kimfessions Series once again 😍

Thanks buddy! Looks like I should grab Partagas 898 when it pops on 2424 sales 😃. As a huge fan of long CCs, I really like the variety of flavor from these CCs like Monte 1 😄.

I recently got new Side Part haircut at barbershop and also added Walrus stache on my beard, so the next Kimfessions Series will be something more refreshing than before 😎

Much agreed! Monte 1 is also classic CC and I feel glad I have a Monte 1 box from our host 😃.

Hope that next local CC lounge experience will still be enjoyable as last Kimfessions Series 😄. I'll let you know when the Kimfessions: CCE review begins 😉.

Much appreciated buddy! Since Monte 1 more frequently pops on 2424 sales than before, I'm definitely buy moar Monte 1s if possible 😄. I also ordered D4 clearance box on last week and hope that it'll be tasty as Monte 1 😃.

On next Kimfessions episode, I'm planning to visit local cigar lounge called De La Mano which is runned by Davidoff Korea but allows bringing your own CCs if I pay some fees. One of my Korean FOH buddies went there and he said it had a great whisky selection in a cool speakeasy ambient with Chet Baker's music being played, so it sounds really promising as Led Zeppelin cigar lounge. 👍

Thanks buddy! I usually buy long CCs on 2424 sales but since recent D4 production has great reputation on FOH, I decide to snag D4 box before it's too late 😃. Hope that I have a chance to get E2s and Connie As (one of my fav CC rotation) too on some day.

I too believe De La Mano is one of the greatest local cigar lounges for those who enjoy speakeasy atmosphere with jazz music, cigars, and whisky 🎷🥃. Jazz is one of my fav music genres and I think it'll be suitable especially for puffing long CCs such as CCE, Monte 1, and Lusis 😁.
