RASS from 2021 Xmas sampler. I pulled this to get back in the saddle after a 3 month hiatus from cigars and to see how my Xmas collection was resting up.

I'm not a fan of RASS, I have always found the profile to be muddy so I was paying more attention to the conversation during the first half, but this really got my attention with some plum cake flavors and an intense smoothness. Still not enough going on to get a box, but good to know that the supposed 2021 code is as good in a smoke I'm not a fan of at all.

All hail FoH Xmas sampler! I bought it on a whim and am so far quite pleased.

Spring is in the air my FOH. 
A couple of last PL Picadores; A gorgeous 2007 ERDMCS and look what shows up today.

No cigars but a handmade ashtray made by a friend of ours. Who knew? It’s going to live in the big city in our condo.

Couple from the weekend

ERDM Choix Supreme, BRO ENE 19. From an HQ box, and this is as dark as I want my CX. Super rich! Great construction, firm and round but not overfilled. Nice toothy wrapper. Rich savoury flavours, nutty and grassy and a little spicy. Moderate body but quite a lot of nicotine strength still. Second from the box and I think they will age great. Nice spring sunshine, all is good.

Gorgeous. Hoping we see CS appear more. I was obsessed with those and ERDM Lonsdale. Hoping to get my hands on a box soon

Partagas N° 1 El 2017, a gift from a friend, the cigar was simply delicious.

Triple header today!

Johnny-O Esplendido, current production.  Been a while since I had a cigar do the hiss and crackle routine while it burns but this guy was noisy!  Great smoke.  Construction and smoking mechanics were better than the 2015 Espy I sampled yesterday.  Less cream but more honey sweetness than the regular production, overall less complex.  May simply be a matter of age.  Great cigar!
