An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

C&C ‘14 especiales. Fantastic start to the day C&C with a Monte 4 C&C time today with a Perla picked up from 24:24

Well, it was sort of boring. I’m terrible with tasting notes but all I can say is it was sort of plain. Construction was beautiful, burned perfectly, nice draw. It’s just that nothing stood out. Maybe it’s because it’s cold outside, not sure. Couldn’t think of another cigar I’d compare it to. I’ll try another when I get back inside at our club to see if it’s different. Hoping to try a lancero this week.

The Lanceros and BHK 52s are much better. I smoked a robusto and a BHK 52 back to back on Friday to see the difference and it was AA vs major league.

I can’t speak for @Cigarsmoker81, but any I’ve had or others have had while I was with them have never had a construction issue. In addition to that, they are very enjoyable cigars.

I personally think they have the easiest draw of all CC. In a good way, amazing construction.

or a Sanchos that just looks skinny in the photo?

Sanchos, but you are absolutely correct, it was 42-43 rg instead of 47

 Just Cuba being Cuba .....

How do you rate the E2

In general very  good, this one was from 2012. Flavors was good, but it did canoe on me, needless to say distracts from the overall experience.

Yes, that being said, production of Habanos cigars carries a +/- 1 rg either way. Add to that shrinkage due to aging over many years and that may help to explain the smaller ring gauge too.
