He picked up notes of nuts and flan - things I don’t get from them at all. I smoked a D4 from our awesome hosts followed by a Half Corona which I must say as much I usually like them, just can’t follow a D4. Had venison burger first and then some Lagavulin 8. The one I had today was nothing special. Slightly plugged, and no flavors that knocked my socks off. This one was quite memorable, dripping with chocolate. Glad to have a box, of which this was the first RyJ Petit corona from 2008. It is really in a sweet spot for me. The second time I’ve had a PL Robusto and they just havnt done it for me yet.
