Few days ago when I took the day off for the once a decade phenomenon for when the first digit in my age changes. After burning this I have 5 sticks left. 

Honestly great smoke, but not as good as I remember the last time I had it, and (according to my wealth) not worth today's prices, but I bought the box at around $300+ back in the day

H.Upmann Magnum 50 GEL AGO 20. Very pleasant. It held up after having left it out in the fog for an hour. I came back to it and the wrapper had split from bottom to top and was squishy to the touch. Still smoked like a champ after I cut the foot and re lit.

UEB SEP 17 PLPC. First cigar I’ve been able to enjoy since thanksgiving due to a cold and some gnarly phantom allergies. 
 

These are awesome right now! Really turned a corner, I’m gonna crush the last 15 of these quickly!

You wouldn’t have to change a thing and it would be a hit. Coincidentally, before I listened to the book, Shawshank Redemption was my favorite movie. 

I totally agree. Would be an amazing special. Shawshank is no doubt a modern classic!

Just tried first stick of a new box of Media Coronas. Has potential. Some big flavors here and nice salty wrapper but just too young. I’ll check back in 6 months or so I guess.

Celebrating my 20th anniversary today with a Behike, at the Waldorf Astoria in Cabo San Lucas, on my balcony with a pool that overlooks the pool which overlooks the ocean.  

 

 

And this morning a Siglo VI with a cafe Americano.

 

The Esmeralda pairs well with guava margaritas.  Who knew?

I have always suspected the Behike cigars to be grossly overrated. Never had one though. I'll take one as a gift lol!

There have been a few that have blown me away, but most taste pretty similar to the Siglo VI.  Plenty of those have blown me away too.   If you can somehow get them at Cuba prices then buy as many as you can, but at the secondary market prices, they are just not worth it.  You can buy 3 (or more) Siglo VIs for every Behike you can buy on the secondary market at current prices.

Monte 4 ATP SEP 18. I moved this box to the 69rh bin. It helped. Now a slightly better version of meh.

Epi 1 EGT MAR 20 Tubo. I like 'em, even this OK one.

BPC BRE SEP 18, another really good one from this box.

PLP UBM ABR 18. Best cigar of the past month, which included one CCE, D4, BBF, some ****ing Davidoffs and others, and all of the above... for $2.60 👍

The no 2 was very good, but the no 4 surprised me and was noticeably better!

Tonight I finish off the last of two, 2007 boxes of CoRo.  When I bought these, they just didn’t do it for me like another box I had from 2007.  Fast forward 13 years later and I blew through these - just wonderful.
