GRM MAR 2021. Also have a box of ATE JUN 2018's marinating.  After reading Subcomandante's post, I've decided to heck with ageing all these sticks and start torching them.  Why fall over dead with full boxes of premium sticks?

So, this evening I decided to try a "farm fresh" cigar I'd bought from a horse-back visit out to a tobacco farm in Viñales back in 2018.  (The farmer-hosts warned my family and me not to age it, but I couldn't resist putting a few away just to see what would happen.  To be safe, I put them in their own sealed container with a 65% boveda and set them in the back of the spare fridge, mainly out of concern for beetles or other potential problems.)  At the time we bought them at the farm, they were ok.  Nice burn but not much flavor, no development, more of a souvenir; I didn't expect much to develop.  

...As a precaution tonight, I decided to light up another cigar at the same time (in case of a dud experience).  The "spare" was a RA Superiores (ETP Mar 2016).  I thought it would be a good evening no matter what.

Well, it turned out to be a great evening!  The now-aged "farm fresh" now smokes like an aged PLMC to my taste:  mild but with pleasant and changing complexity!  (Who'd have guessed.)  And it was constructed wonderfully.  Nice draw; even burn; no re-lights(!)  

Yes, the RAS was more complex and deeper in flavours, ...but I ended up with two beautiful cigars in the end.  Thankfully.  (Next time will only need to light one

Last night LMB ABR 18 Partagas 898. These have been off for 2-2 and a half years, but they’ve definitely turned a corner! That dried date flavor that disappeared finally came back in a big way. 
 

The CCE thread got me wondering about my SOP JUN 20 box so I lit one up this morning. Started a bit harsh but settled down into vanilla, caramel, cream and some honey. It was very good, however I think these need at least another 6-12 months to blossom into something special.
